NFT Games Defy Steam Ban and Thrive

Around two years ago, Steam’s decision to ban NFTs left developers baffled. However, this approach has not entirely succeeded as expected. Despite this ban, some clever moves have allowed NFT-related elements to persist on the Steam platform.

The resilient Web3 community has paved the way for several games to enter the Steam marketplace through creative means. Games like Evaverse, launched prior to the ban, subtly offer NFT features through third-party accounts, flying under the radar and receiving positive reviews from players.

Meanwhile, others opt for a more cautious route, removing NFT and crypto components to comply with Steam’s rules. Titles such as Gala Games’ Superior offer limited versions on Steam to engage users and prepare for potential policy changes. Additionally, projects like Goblintown boldly embrace their NFT identity, making a statement on the platform.

Though Steam’s vast user base continues to attract NFT games, Epic remains the preferred choice for a comprehensive Web3 experience.

Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix 2023 Embraces NFT Rewards

To commemorate the track’s 75th anniversary, 75 of these collectibles will yield even more enticing prizes. The Dutch Grand Prix is dedicated to finding fresh ways to engage with fans, and these NFTs present an innovative solution.

Upon purchasing a ticket, Grand Prix attendees will automatically gain access to a virtual segment of the circuit. However, the assets themselves will remain a mystery until an hour before the race’s commencement. Fans will receive notifications about the asset launch, ensuring they are in the loop and informed about collecting their rewards.

Furthermore, to celebrate Zandvoort’s birthday, 75 randomly selected fans will receive exclusive Grand Prix NFT rewards. These lucky winners will not only receive a digital counterpart of the racetrack but also a ticket to the Historic Grand Prix 2024. Worth anticipating!

DeRace Metaverse Introduces Game-Changing Horse Renting Feature

DeRace’s eagerly awaited Horse Renting feature has been unveiled. This innovative feature that is designed to streamline the NFT rental process, is part of DeRace’s ambitions to transform how players interact with the virtual world.

It opens up a mutually beneficial scenario for horse owners and players without their own equine companions.

For horse owners, the Horse Renting feature presents an opportunity to monetize their prized horses. They can rent out their horses to fellow players, earning $DERC tokens in return. That way, they get to maximize their horse’s potential during downtime and create a consistent income stream.

On the other hand, players without horses can now immerse themselves in the excitement of DeRace through the Horse Renting feature. By renting elite equine partners, these users can dive into the racing universe and experience the thrill of the racetracks. The added allure of rewards adds an extra layer of motivation.

The introduction of the Horse Renting feature marks a pivotal milestone for the DeRace ecosystem, aligning with its ethos of inclusivity, growth, and rewards. The race to explore DeRace’s innovations is officially underway, and the adventures await.

NFT Model Enables Passive Earning in Mech Fighting Game

The mech fighting game introduces an NFT model that offers NFT holders the opportunity to earn through an in-app purchase system. When the Web2 version of the game launches next year, NFT holders will be able to sell non-NFT copies of their Mechs through the in-game store.

This revenue-sharing model allocates 50% of revenue to the owner, 30% to the platform, and 20% to the developers. The goal is to enable NFT holders to earn passively from sales of non-NFT versions of their Mechs. If the traditional Web2 edition of the game proves successful, this unique model could offer a lucrative way for holders to earn while enjoying the game’s action-packed experience.
